Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today morning visited deceased civilian Gowher Ahmad’s residence at Kangan in Ganderbal district.
Amid protests, Mehbooba reached Gowher’s residence and met his family members.
While interacting with the family of decesed youth, Chief Minister assured a time bound probe into the Gowher’s killing. She said that no Civilian killing would be tolerated in J&K.
Mehbooba said she was pained to see mothers wailing and added that those guilty in civilian killings would be brought to justice.
The CM was accompanied by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Khan, IGP Kashmir S P Pani, secretary sports council Waheed Para, MLC Yasir Reshi, SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone and district Civil and Police administration.
