Keeping in view the forth coming RepublicDay 2018, present security scenario in the State and impending threats from ANEs,some Nakas and frisking points have been established in Jammu City as well as rural areas for the security and safety of the general public. General Publicis requested toco-operate with Police at naka and frisking points. Don’t feel it as harassment by the Police.
From the security viewpoint,it is requested to all the school’s management in district Jammu that do not allow any stranger in the school and give necessary precautionarymeasures to the students.
General public is also requested to take preventive actions like –“Do not touch any abandon object. On seeing any suspected person/object /material, inform the Police immediately. If they have any information about any anti-national/anti-social elements, please inform the Police immediately or through Dial 100. Be alert while travelling in passenger vehicles and at crowded placeslike-Bus Stand/Railway Station/Shopping Complex/MallsHospitals etc.” Dial 100 service of Police is available round the clock, people can share any information at any time through this service.
All SHOs and Incharge Police Posts have been directed to remain present in their respective jurisdiction round the clock. Incharge Border Police Posts have been directed to keep a vigil on infiltration routes used by ANEs in past. VDCs members/Numberdars/Chowkidars are directed to co-operate with Police while performing their duties for safety and security especially in view of forth coming RepublicDay/cease fire violation by Pak on IB/LOC.
