Jammu,May 27:
Apni Party chief Altaf Bukhari who is tipped to be Chief Minister of a widely speculated interim government in Jammu and Kashmir , is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week, highly placed sources told J K News Today on Wednesday.
He has already met Home Minister Amit Shah and NSA Ajit Doval , and discussed with them severe political vacuum in Jammu and Kashmir, the state that was downgraded to the Union Territory on August 5, 2019 and given a practical shape on October 31 last year. Ladakh was conferred the UT status on the same date.
Bukhari is likely to meet PM next week to apprise him the necessity of political inputs and outreach in J&K which is feeling deeply alienated because of the absence of the political activity.
