District Administration has launched a massive anti-encroachment drive from New Sher-e- Kashmir Bridge to Industrial Complex in Rajouri town demolishing many illegal structures raised by encroaches on state land.
Sources said that it was a much-awaited anti-encroachment drive and many complaints regarding the encroachment in the town. Following this, District Development Commissioner, Rajouri Dr Shahid Iqbal and SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas have taken initiative and the drive has been launched from New Link Road via Bela Collony Rajouri.
People of Rajouri also appealed to DDC Rajouri and SSP Rajouri to start the same drive in old city where there are also complaints of encroachment and the old city from bus stand to Jhoola bridge.
