High alert has been sounded in border district Kathua after two armed suspects snatched a Maruti Alto car from a local and moved towards Kathua town.
Police sources said that a local resident of Bamyal close to Indo-Pak International Border, informed the security forces that two armed men in combat dress snatched his car on Sunday night at around 11 pm and moved towards Kathua from a link road.
Now, high alert has been sounded across the area and and information has also been passed on to Punjab Police.
