In order to make the Girl students of Reasi district aware about the employment opportunities in Armed Forces, the Indian Army conducted a lecture on “Women Entry Scheme in the Armed Forces” at Government Higher Secondary School, Reasi.

The lecture was attended by 150 students, teaching staff, local dignitaries and Army officials. The lecture was aimed at audience awareness of the procedure for Women Entry in Armed Forces and covered in detail various types of entries and modes of selection in the Armed Forces. A brief insight was also given about the physical and medical requirements for the entry schemes. Leaflets containing information about the selection process and the schedule of various exams were handed over to the students.

The lecture culminated in an interactive session where all queries of the students were resolved by the Army official, conducting the lecture. Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Reasi in his address, mentioned that the students will benefit immensely from the lecture on “Women Entry Scheme in the Armed Forces”, which saw huge participation and enthusiasm from the audience. He thanked the Army for a meticulously organised lecture for the benefit of the future of this great country.
