To ameliorate medical problems of populace in far flung and remote areas, a Medical Camp was conducted by Army today at Thanna village of Rajouri district.

More than 377 patients, including men, women and children were provided medical aid and treatment by the Army doctors. Medicines were distributed free of cost.

The local populace of Thanna lacks access to basic health care facilities. Such initiatives by Army have not only enabled patients to be treated closer to their homes but also helped in increasing the awareness about cleanliness, hygiene and healthy living.

Speaking on the occasion Sarpanch, of the village Thanna, on behalf of the locals expressed his appreciation towards the Army for undertaking this noble cause of addressing the medical problems of the locals.
