Army conducts mobile repair course for youth

In an endeavor to provide avenues for self-employment to the youth of remote areas in the State, the Army is conducting a vocational training course on mobile repair from 14 May to 26 May 2018.

A total of 15 youth from remote villages of Ramban district are attending the course, which not only will enhanced their functional knowledge of mobile repairing techniques but also provided them skills and confidence to seek employment avenues in the field of mobile repair.

Speaking at the event, one of the participants said, ‘Its a great opportunity for us to acquire additional skills and will definitely help us in enhancing our chance of employability in future’. Such ventures would in turn contribute towards the overall economic upliftment of the society.

Sarpanch of Gool village, conveyed appreciation on behalf of the people to Army for taking skill enhancement and building initiatives to engage the youth.
