Jammu, January 11:
One Major and a soldier were killed in a mysterious blast close to the Line of Control in Nowhera sector in Rajouri district on Friday evening .
According to a spokesman of the army today
Today at about 3pm, an Improvised Explosive Device explosion took place near LoC in Naushera Sector(J&K) in which an Army Officer and a soldier got grievously injured. Immediate resuscitation and medical aid was provided, however, they succumbed to the injuries.
In another incident of unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan troops in Sunderbani Sector, an Army Porter named Hemraj was shot at & grievously injured. The individual was provided immediate resuscitation and medical aid, however, he later succumbed to the gun shot wounds. The Army authorities have promised all possible assistance to the family of martyred Army Porter.
