The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Samote in an endeavour towards promoting self employment opportunities conducted a Bakery Course at Kotranka under Op Sadbhavana for the youth of remote villages of Kotranka, Samote, Kandi and adjoining areas.
A total of 09 youth from remote villages of Kotranka and adjoining areas have been successfully trained in preparation of bakery items and owing to the recently acquired skills they are confident of carrying it fwd by opening Bakery shops at various places which will help them in earning their livelihood.
The youth thanked the instructors for training them and asked for continued support. These youth requested for refresher course every month till they open a shop, in order to sharpen their skills. The Army has assured them of all necessary support in this regard.
