Jammu, December 18:
Army is conducting tuition classes for children of rural areas from December to March 2019 at Seven different locations, namely at Lower Gund, Cheril, Halemaidan, Batu, Karalchihal, Ukhral, and Rajgarh Area of Ramban district.
The aim of these classes is to impart quality education to children from rural areas who cannot afford private tuitions / coaching classes especially children. More than 250 students will be accruing the benefits of quality coaching through this project.
This initiative has also generated employment for educated youths who have been hired as teachers for coaching classes. The parents of these students have expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Army for this noble initiative.
