Northern Command army chief Gen. D Anbu has castigated all those trying to communalise the “ martyrdom” of soldiers , declaring that they should know that the army is for all religions .
Talking to media after the investiture ceremony at Northern Command headquarters in Udhampur on Wednesday , the Northern Command chief said that the army is for all religions and to communalise the martyrdom was illogical .
He was reacting to the comments of Assadudin Owaissi President of the All India Majilis-e-Ittehadul Mulimeen , who had questioned the silence on the martyrdom of four Muslim soldiers in the terror attack at Sunjwan military station in which six soldiers and a civilian were killed .
Gen. Anbu said that thousands of people who came out to bid farewell to the brave hearts in the Valley yesterday is an an answer to all such skeptics
