Deputy Speaker of J&K Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today forced to adjourn the House for 10 minutes due to lack of quorum
As Congress MLA Vikar Rasool Wani was speaking on the grants of Industries department, deputy speaker adjourned the House citing that there was no proper quorum in the House.
The maximum members from ruling party as well opposition parties were not in the House during the discussion.
Following this, the Deputy Speaker also told Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Javed Mustafa Mir that government should be serious in maintaining the quorum of the House.
It is mandatory to have presence of 23 members in the House to run the proceedings.
