In first of its kind interaction in Jammu and Kashmir regarding use of social media platforms professionally for community development and youth empowerment.
Association of Social Media Professionals (ASMP), a global group of social media professionals from connected to 28 countries in the world, today organised its first interaction programme at JAMMU INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA AND RESEARCH in Jammu.
The representatives of Association of social media Professionals (ASMP) organised the programme on its use for good governance, marketing and community development to empower youth”
Theme of the event was “social media for youth engagement and empowerment and topic of the event was social media for governance and marketing, an initiative for association community research and action (ACRA).
Representatives of ASMP were Mr. Deepak Khajuria journalist by Profession and Mr. Amit Mahajan I&T professional and they work voluntarily with the association just to create awareness among the masses, regarding social media for strengthening democracy good governance and inclusive development. Association has its own website. theASMP.net. This site is to connect and reach the people world wide. Always online for innovation, development and freedom.
As it is the first kind of event focusing on creating effective strategies and setting ip development goals to address the complex skills, issues imperative for balancing the economic social and governance indicators.
We always need such programmes in future to create awareness among other students. Merits of social media were highlight apart from entertainment upto what extent we are benefited by this website was shared with students to come forward with their ideas and to explore and spread Ayurveda in a better way through social media.
The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Raghuvir Singh Principal JIAR.
Mr. Deepak and Mr. Amit thanked chairperson JIAR, Mrs Suman Sharma managing Directors Mr. Ravish Sharma and Mr. Ritesh Sharma, Principal Dr. Raghuvir Singh and Vice Principal  Dr. Nitin Mahajan for giving the opportunity to interact with the students regarding social medial.
The whole programme was coordinated by Dr. Twinkle Gupta Associate Professors Deptt. of Kayachikitsa and Dr. Abhishek Magotra Assistant Professor Deptt. of Health and Hygiene.
