The state government is likely to lift ban on the publication of Kashmir Reader as the two sides have hammered out some sort of an agreement in which the responsible freedom of speech would be upheld, according to official sources.
The Mehbooba Mufti Government had suspended publication of the newspaper after observing that its “ contents were inciting” the violence . This move had come under severe criticism by the media in Kashmir as also by some of the separatist groups .
According to sources, “ Kashmir Reader” may yet gain hit the stands in next few days, the sources said.
An announcement in this regard is expected soon.
