Border Security Force (BSF) retaliated strongly to the Pakistani firing at International Border, said Inspector General of BSF Jammu Frontier, Ram Awtar.

The BSF IG, while talking to media after wreath laying ceremony of the BSF martyr Head Constable Hazara at BSF headquarters in Paloura today, said, “BSF retaliated strongly and damaged many points of Pakistani Rangers in Samba sector to avenge the death of head constable RP Hazara.”

IG Ram Awtar in Jammu says there is loss of life and property on our side during retaliatory fire, but BSF have given them huge damage.

He also confirmed the killing of an intruder at RS Pura sector today morning, when a group of infiltrators was spotted near the IB coming towards fence. They were challenged, but when not stopped, then opened fire by BSF troops in which one intruder was killed. He was resident of Sialkot district of Pakistan.

“It seems that today morning incident was part of an infiltration bid, which was foiled by BSF. The eliminated intruder was a youth wearing hood jacket and might be a guide of the terrorists,” added IGP.

He further added that BSF is ready to counter such challenges.

Meanwhile, DGP J&K, Dr SP Vaid was also present in the wreath laying ceremony of BSF jawan.

“They killing humanity and don’t know what they are getting out of it,” said DGP Vaid and added that our forces are doing well.
