There is a good news for lakhs of pilgrims visiting Machail Mata yatra this year at the upper hills of Kishtwar district of Jammu region, as the BSNL has providing mobile connectivity to the devotees at the shrine.
Confirming this to JKNT, Sub-Divisional Engineer of BSNL, Balbir Singh said that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has becomes the first service provider to serve the pilgrims with the mobile connectivity at the mountainous shrine of ‘Mata Machail Wali’, where lakhs of pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir and different parts of the country visiting every year.
The annual pilgrimage has began in the last week of July and will continue till August ending.
Due to far-flung and mountainous area, it is not easy to provide mobile connectivity to pilgrims during over 30 kms long track or at the shrine, but this year BSNL has installed towers and serve devotees of ‘Chandi Mata’ with mobile connectivity.
