Jammu, March 12 Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti will keep finance portfolio with her for some time before she decides on the successor of sacked Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu.
Haseeb was sacked from the ministry as a political punishment by the Chief Minister for insisting that Kashmir was “not a political problem .”
There are many in the race for Finance Minister .
Mehbooba’s brother and Tourism Minister Tassaduq Mufti is a front runner , according to sources. PWD minister Naeem Akhtar is also in the race, sources said.
