CBSE results 2018: Class 10 and Class 12 students will be able to directly check their results for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations on Google search this year.

Class 10 and Class 12 students will be able to directly check their results for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations on Google search this year.

“CBSE has partnered with Google for the first time to host the board’s Class 10 and Class 12 results on the search engine. So for the first time, the CBSE board results window will be available both on Google as well as CBSE official result website cbseresults.nic.in,” CBSE spokesperson Rama Sharma told Hindustan Times on Tuesday.

This has been done keeping in mind the convenience of the students, she said.

Students will be able to check their results quickly by visiting the Google website and searching for CBSE Class 10 or CBSE Class 12 result. They will have to key in the required details to login and check their results. Previously, students were required to go to the CBSE official website to check their results.

This year, Google had provided a window to check JEE main result 2018 too.

CBSE board exam results are expected in the last week of May. Around 28 lakh candidates had registered for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations this year. A total of 16,38,428 candidates had registered for Class 10 examinations conducted at 4,453 centres across India and 78 centres outside India. For the Class 12 exam, 11,86,306 candidates had registered and the exams were held at 4,138 centres in India and 71 centres abroad.
