A civilian today killed in Pakistani firing and shelling at residential areas of Mankote sector at Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch.
However, authorities are yet to confirm about the civilian casualty in Pakistani firing, but sources confirmed that one woman Zanib Di of Mankore village died when Pakistani army dropped mortar shells in their village.
Meanwhile, Defence Spokesperson, Col Devender Anand informed that Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of Small arms, automatics and mortars from 4:20 pm in Krishna Ghati (KG) sector along the Line of Control (LC). He added that Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively.
