Jammu, January 07: Making former CM Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s second death anniversary as a memorable day, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is remembering her father with number of events.
In the main event at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu tomorrow on 8th January 2018 at 11.00 am, Economist, Author and British Indian politician, Lord Meghnad Desai will be delivering the 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Lecture.
In the same event Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar will be the chief guest and the function will be headed by Governor NN Vohra.
Whereas, CM Mehbooba Mufti is also scheduled to launch a major welfare initiative called as ‘Muhafiz’ for J&K’s workers in unorganized sector. The function is scheduled to be held tomorrow at Gulshan Ground, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu at 2.30 pm.
Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and Minister for Finance, Labour & Employment, Dr Haseeb Drabu will also be present in the event.
