Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the Jammu and Kashmir government not to recruit Special Police Officers ( SPOs) without proper verification of their antecedents as random recruitment was impacting security situation in Kashmir .
The Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba during his interaction with the security agencies here had made it clear that not only the SPOs , the credentials of all the recruitments in police and paramilitary forces should be done after proper verification by multiple agencies.
He meant to say that the political pressures should be avoided.
