What does Deepika Padukone’s father have to say about Ranveer Singh?

Ranveer Singh is all heart. If he loves someone, he loves that person unconditionally which also explains why he’s never hesitated in expressing his love for Deepika Padukone. From gushing praises for DP during award functions to walking hand in hand to let the world know she’s his bae, Ranveer has done everything to win his lover’s heart. One such instance further came evident during his recent appearance on Koffee With Karan season 5, where he lovingly also claimed Deepika as ‘marriage material’. Yes! While many were unsure about this confession considering there are strong rumours about the couple’s split. Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone however seems to be pretty unfazed by any buzz surrounding his daughter’s love life.
In interaction with Mid Day, Deepika’s father reacted to Ranveer’s ‘marriage material’ comment and affirmed saying, “They are adults and know what they are doing. As father, I have given Deepika the freedom to take her own decisions. Even in this case, she is free to decide whatever she wants to do.” Quite a sorted reply, don’t you think so?
Not to mention, it was during Filmfare Awards 2015 when we first got to see Deepika and Ranveer’s ‘Meet The Parents’ moment. Remember how both the families had shared the same row, by sitting right beside each other? Probably, the families are still pretty open to Deepika and Ranveer’s relationship despite the breakup rumours. And any which ways, which relationship doesn’t go through ups and downs?
The last we saw Deepika and Ranveer together was during the Ambani bash where they quashed all the breakup rumours by walking hand in hand. Following which, they even took off to Dubai together for an awards show where word is that the couple just couldn’t stop their PDA with Ranveer even kissing on Deepika’s forehead before going onstage to receive his award.
