Centre is grappling with a damning report about the PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir and it has held several strategic sessions t find a way out in the sensitive border state where one controversy after another is being clocked. It is likely to take a fresh call on J&K by next one month .
Home Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor have had a series of meetings , and at times briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi , about the increasing political instability and mutulay contradictory narratives of the alliance partners , PDP and BJP, and the crescendo of the opposition National Conference and Congress , against New Delhi .
The developments in which the National Conference leaders have indulged in high –pitched rhetoric that the West Pakistan refugees were “ foreigners” and they would defend the special status of the state with blood has been rated as “ quite disturbing” as it has only fuelled the separatists’ anti-India campaign .
Regarding the PDP-BJP government, it has been observed in a pile of reports from various agencies and institutions from Jammu and Kashmir , it has been made sated in bold that it is a matter of time before the two parties would fight each other in public , thus fulfilling the prophecies of the doomsayers.
Sources told JK News Today on Tuesday that the Prime Minister , despite being occupied with campaign in Uttar Pradesh and dealing with increasing opposition to his plan of demonetization , is worried about deepening of uncertainty in the state because of the five-month-long unrest and deceptive normalcy that too is under threat of because of the parochial politics and noises.
These sources said that the Centre would wait and watch for the next one month that is the conduct of the parties in the Assembly and that of the other groups outside the Assembly before taking a call on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
