Demanding formation of Shrine Board for historical Bahu Fort Temple, delegations of Bahu Fort Development Committee members met Deputy CM Dr Nirmal Singh and Assembly Speaker Kavinder Gupta.

A delegation of local youth from Bahu Fort led by BJP leader Rajeev Charak called on Dr Nirmal Singh, Deputy Chief Minister and discussed formation of Shrine board for Bawe Wali Mata Temple. The delegation apprised Dr Singh about importance of having Shrine Board to create more avenues for pilgrims and to streamline the management.

They also informed that campaign was started in 1997 and got tremendous support from people but unfortunately successive government put the demand son backburner. The delegation also said tat ahashtag #shrineboard4bawetemple was launched to gather support for shrine globally, which is very successful.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh listen the demand and assured all possible help in near future.

Meanwhile, the delegation also called on Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assemble, Kavinder Gupta, who is also MLA of Gandhi Nagar and also raised their demand in front of him and he also assured that creation of Shrine Board is already in pipeline and BJP in particular and state government in general is thinking on these lines.
