Jammu, March 25:
In a rare gesture of humility and acknowledgment , Director General of Police S P Vaid saluted Head Constable Padam Singh Negi of CRPF , who, he said saved his life on the night of March 23rd, 1999.
The DGP said that he will remain “ indebted to him and his family.”
In a tweet, Vaid recalled,” On the night of March 23rd1999, in front of my eyes martyr Head Constable Padam Singh Negi of @crpfindia laid down his life to protect me. I shall remain indebted to him and his family. May God bless his soul in peace. #JaiHind”
