Jammu, March 15:

A low density earthquake jolted Jammu and Kashmir State and the tremor mostly felt in the erstwhile Doda district of Jammu.

The official sources confirmed that an earthquake Jolted Jammu & Kashmir areas including Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban and other parts of J&K at about 08:25 pm, but yet to detail about its magnitude. As of now, no casualties or damages have been reported.

Earlier, on March 10, just five days back an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit the north Indian state of J&K.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the depth of the quake was 10 kilometres on Saturday.
