People’s Democratic Trade Union (PDTU) today said that every employee of J&K State Government – right from Class IVth to upper echelons of bureaucracy are saddened with the unceremonious exit of Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu.

Every employee was in high spirit in this month and was eagerly waiting for the reckoner of 7th pay commission besides removal of pay anomalies. 61,000 daily wagers were very hopeful of amendment in their SRO and was waiting eagerly for smoothening of their wages issue which was being unpaid from the last 44 months besides their regularisation, said Mr Jasmeet Singh Madaan, District President, P. D.T.U. . The unceremonious ouster of Haseeb Drabu has created confusion and chaos among employees at the fag end of the current session. Drabu was working day in and day out to mitigate the problems of employees from the root and in this regard, he has introduced several financial reforms too.

Criticising the opposition for snowballing controversy over his misinterpretation of juggling words, Jasmeet said that Drabu has become the cynosure in the eyes of opposition for his popularity among the employees and business community for his pro-employee and friendly approach towards business community.

Jasmeet hoped that Drabu will continue to strive for the betterment of employees and business community by offering his selfless services to Party President in general and employees in particular.
