Impressed with the round the clock working of IGP Traffic, Basant Kumar Rath, other than traffic cops, now Executive Police also conducted surprised nakas in their areas to check traffic management in the late evenings.
On Saturday evening, a team headed by SDPO City West, Pranav Mahajan and SHO Bakshi Nagar Naresh Sharma hold a surprised checking of traffic and conducted a patrolling in Shakti Nagar, Toph Sherkhania, Subash Nagar areas in the late evenings.
Normally, it is not seen the the executive police officers doing such checking in the late evenings or night, but after IGP Basant Rath doing such practicies to streamline traffic system now, JKP officer paid surprise vehicle checkings and also aware people to obey traffic rules.
