Jammu, November 21  ( JKNT ) National Conference president and former  Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah  nowadays gets annoyed  when asked , whether he believed Kashmir was an integral part of India.

“ He ( Farooq Abdullah) gets  very annoyed when asked if he believes that Kashmir was an integral part of India,” wrote India Today in an interview of the former Chief Minister on its website .

The interview conducted by Saurrabh Vaktania  and posted by   Anand Jayaram  last night , also quoted  Abdullah as saying, “Pakistan is not the only source of terrorism. Our government of India does not fulfill the promises which they have made to people of Kashmir.”

Abdullah stressed on talks with Pakistan, he said, “During Atal Bihari Vajpayee tenure, a bus went to Pakistan. Even after Kargil, Musharraf was called. We can change friends but we cannot change our neighbours.

He also picked up holes in Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar’s statement on demonetization having ended stone throwing in Kashmir as “ baseless”. He said that the violence is continuing still and asserted yet again that “ autonomy is the only solution.”
