Sopore police in Jammu and Kashmir arrested four persons and claimed that it has solved the murder case of missing goldsmith .
SSP Sopore Harmeet Singh told media that the arrested persons have confessed to killing the goldsmith “with a sole aim of looting jewelry and cash from his shop.”
The foursome , Harmeet Singh said, had abducted Tariq Ahmad Malik and strangulated him before throwing his body into river on the night of December 26 . They had taken keys of his shop and looted the jewelry and cash.
Further investigations into the case are on. Police are trying to retrieve the body of the goldsmith.
