Four policemen were killed in a powerful I E D blast in the north Kashmir’s Sopore town Saturday morning in the most devastating attack by militants in the first week of 2018 at the time when the police have been claiming that it has tamed militancy in the Valley.
Inspector General of Police, Kashmir zone , Munir Khan confirmed to J K News Today that four policemen were killed in the blast. He said that the explosive device was apparently hidden beneath a shop. Three shops have also been damaged in the blast.
