Srinagar, January 16 ( JKNT) Kashmir Valley experienced a fresh spell of snowfall soaring the hopes of a good winter tourist season ahead .
The Valley experienced fresh snowfall after a gap of more than a week and thickened the blanket of snow in the upper reaches like Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Kapran . There was snowfall in the plains of the Valley.
Meteorological (MeT) department has predicted widespread rains or snow over three days.
Fresh snowfall was recorded in Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Kupwara areas of Kashmir this morning, a MeT official here said.
The MeT Office has forecast fairly wide spread to wide spread rains or snow with heavy falls at isolated places over three days from today.
