Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Party ( Nationalist) Ghulam Hassan Mir on Wednesday lamented that the commitment of the Governor’s administration to complete all the languishing projects is not reflected on the ground .

Citing the instance of the incomplete work of the Administrative Complex Tangmarg in Baramullah district on which the work had started in 2010 as an evidence of the casual approach of the government in completing people-oriented projects , Mir said that the work should be taken on this complex on war footing .

In a statement here today, Mir said that the inordinate delay in the completion of the work on the Administrative Complex has caused numerous problems to the people of the all-important area that is critical to the tourism industry of Kashmir . “ The people have to rush from pillar to post to get their works done, which otherwise should have been done close to the places where they live,” he said and added,” the severe wintry conditions multiply their hardships.”

Mir , who is also a former minister and had represented Gulmarg Assembly constituency several times , said that Governor Satya Pal Malik and Finance Secretary Navin Choudhary should take note of this important project and sanction funds and work force to complete the complex to address a long-standing demand of the people
