Sh. G.H. Mir, former Minister, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today and extended warm greetings to Sh. Malik on his appointment as Governor J&K.
Sh. Mir held discussions with Governor about the challenges being faced in the arena of development and the steps required for creating conditions which can lead to sustained peace and normalcy in the State.
Governor and Sh. Mir discussed the crucial importance of establishing institutions of local self government for empowering people and ensuring overall development of villages and towns.
