Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) chief, Ghulam Ahmed Mir will be continue as the state president of the opposition for the next term.

In a written statement issued by Congress General Secretary and MP, Janardan Dwivedi, the Congress president, Rahul Gandhi has taken a decision that the presidents of all Pradesh Congress Committees, Regional Congress Committees and Territorial Congress Committees will continue in their posts after the organizational election also unless some decision is taken to replace them.

It was almost clear that Mir was getting another term as state Congress president, but there was wait for just a final word from Rahul Gandhi.
