A grenade has been hurled on the vehicle of the Station House Officer (SHO) Bus Stand Jammu on BC Road late this evening in which two constables has been seriously injured.
A grenade was hurled from the flyover at around 10:40PM on the police vehicle of SHO Bus stand Rajesh Jasrotia standing on the BC Road outside General Bus Stand. SHO has received minor injury in the attack, however two of his Personnel Security Officers (PSO)s have been injured in the attack.
“Two policemen are injured in the attack. It will be toooearly to comment on the incident,” said Vivek Gupta SSP Jammu.
The area has been cordon off by the police. It is a first attack in Jammu after long time.
