Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is visiting Jammu next week to review the situation obtaining the state because of the rise in militancy and increasing casualties of the soldiers on the borders .
Sources said that the Home Minister is concerned over the deteriorating situation in the state , particularly in the Valley where fundamentalist Islamic ideology is spreading its wings .
The sources said that the Home Minister who has been in touch with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this issue will have a straight talk with the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and others to tell them that they should help in strengthening peace instead of batting for the inimical elements keen on destroying peace in Kashmir.
Rjanth Sngh is also expected to visit border areas in the state to review progress of the work on bunkers being constructed for the border residents.
