Senior BJP leader and co-script writer of BJP-PDP coalition government, Ram Madhav has ridiculed Hurriyat for inviting tourists, saying instead they were inviting terrorists.
He told media, “it smacks of duplicity as how tourists can be in the Valley when Hurriyat is releasing and enforcing weekly calendar of strikes . In fact, there has been some spelling mistake. They were inviting terrorists”.
Yesterday Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mrwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik “in the name of joint resistance leadership”, who have been in the forefront of the agitation since July 8, which crippled the life in the Valley, invited tourists and pilgrims to Kashmir valley through a statement saying “our religion Islam and the prophet of Islam have taught us to be kind with our guests and serve them and safeguard their rights at every cost. This is also embedded in our Kashmiri culture and ethics and that is why our hospitality has been exemplary throughout the history. “
