Saying that she is hopeful that Pakistan may listen to the PM Modi’s formula of collective measures to fight poverty rather than to fight on borders, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today said, “I hope our PM’s words will be taken seriously in Pak.”
Replying to a query of three members inside State Legislative Council regarding cross LoC firing and construction of bunkers, Mehbooba said, “it is very unfortunate that in the modern time of science, we are moving back to ancient times and demanding bunkers but it is need of the hour to save the lives of people of border areas.”
“Bunkers we can built to save the lives of people, but what about the loss of education of the children,” said CM and added that but it is a temporary solution and permanent solution is only when we follow Vajpayee’s formula of peace on borders.
She said that in an interview PM Modi said that he want India and Pak should fight poverty inside our own counteries with the help of eachother. “I hope Pak will understand this,” CM added.
Mehbooba said that there is little delay on construction of bunkers and soon she will take up the matter with Government of India and it will be done.
