Union Minister and MP from Kathua, Dr Jitendra Singh today said that if state government is agreed, Centre has no objection to shift Asifa case to CBI.
While replying to the queries of media at Jammu today MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh said, “If State Government refers, we have no objections to forward the case to CBI. We will handover the case the same day to CBI for inquiry.”
Whereas, while asking about the demand of both BJP ousted ministers for Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s resignation, Dr Singh said whatever BJP has done is enough.
It is worth metioning that the the MoS PMO who is also sitting MP from the same area where Asifa case happened and also supported demand of local residents of Kathua for CBI inquiry on many previous occasions.
