Jammu, Jan 19:

Following heavy firing on International Border between India and Pakistan, National Conference working president and Former Chief Minister of J&K, Omar Abdullah said that India and Pakistan’s Government should talk seriously to maintain ceasefire on borders.

“It is the matter of grave concern that heavy firing is on at borders and a brave BSF soldier has been martyred the other day and also civilian killings. Indian and Pakistan Governments should  seriously think over it and have to initiate talks to maintain the Confidence Building Measure in the shape of ceasefire agreement,” said Omar outside Assembly.

He also added that as NC member, he is saying this and it is the stand of his party too that talks should be initiated to maintain peace on borders.
