Jammu, Oct. 16

To commemorate and pay homage to the student martyrs of 1966,  Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF), led by its patron-in-chief  Rajinder Jamwal, after offering prayers at Shaheedi Sthal, as a mark of respect to the martyrs.

Addressing the students and others at the Shaheedi Sthal G.G.M.Science College Jammu, Rajinder Jamwal while highlighting the sacrifices of these great martyrs said,  “The martyrs  sacrificed their  youth for our future  when discrimination was at its peak, and their sacrifices are an inspiration besides a path breaking moment to awaken the Jammuities”.

Jamwal added that shifting of agriculture college from R.S.Pura(Jammu) to Sopore Kashmir  in 1966, “speaks of the volumes of the discrimination and neglect being meted to Jammu at the hands of successive rulers of Delhi and Kashmir”.

Seven decades rule of both Delhi and Kashmir over Jammu has inflicted unprecedented blows and injuries to Jammuities be it the then REC at Srinagar in 1968, SKIMS Srinagar in 1980s and all other institutes of importance despite strong resentment, protest and concern of Jammuities every now and then, but it is never too late as Narender Modi Govt. at Delhi has offered Bonanza for Jammuities with all top institutes of country including AIIMS, IIT, IIM and what not, which obviously has frustrated twitter savvy Omar Obdullah, opined Mr. Jamwal.

Kuldeep Chib Chairman and Sonu Sharma asked the students to get united for the cause of Jammu, and said that JJSF is organizing this event since last three decades in attempt to keep Jammuities alive and tuned to the Cause of Jammuities.
