Reaching out further to the far flung areas, J&K Bank commissioned an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at Chasana in Reasi district.

The bank’s Zonal Head Jammu (North –II) Anand Pal Singh inaugurated the ATM in presence of Cluster Head Reasi Rajesh Dubey , Tehsildar Chasana Gulshan Kumar, Inspector Arun Singh Slathia, SHO Ali Imran amid a good gathering of senior citizens, civil society members, local residents besides other officers of the bank.

Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head said that the installation of ATM at Chasana was a long pending demand of the people of this area.

Reaffirming the Bank’s commitment, Zonal Head said, “J&K Bank is in a mission mode to provide world-class banking services and facilities to the people of the state irrespective of their location and status. Besides, the expansion of ATM network is part of the bank’s plan to facilitate hassle-free and customer-friendly banking services to the public residing in the backward rural areas of the state.”

Notably, the ATM at Chasana will facilitate customers in real time besides helping to reduce footfall at the business unit. With the commissioning of this ATM, the total number of ATMs in the zone has reached 64 including 30 in the Reasi district.
