Nishant said that students cannot remain unconcerned of the strike in the varsity campus, as they are affected of the strike and moreover when the rights and lawful demands of the employees are brazenly defiled by the VC, the students cannot sit silent as mute spectator and will support and raise their voice against the injustice and tyranny. He added that the VC should immediately shun his dictatorial attitude and must concede to the lawful demands of the protesting employees.

Because of the incompetency of the present VC to address the genuine demands of the protesting employees and resolve the issue, the clerical and other administrative work of the university has been paralysed, which is causing serious hardship and inconvenience to student -added Nishant

Rishikesh Rana Coordinator, JUSA said that the tyrannical attitude of the VC is not acceptable and since the day the present VC has joined the office, he has tried every way to muzzle the voice of everyone whosoever voices against him be it students or employees. There is a reign of terror among students and employees and whosoever stands against him is served with notices and explanations-he said.

Rishikesh stressed that it is a failure of the VC to resolve the long pending genuine issues and demands of the students and employees and keeping high standards of morality, as the VC claims, he must immediately vacate his chair and provide an opportunity to some other more competent person.
