Kapil Sharma has defeated Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapur in the Forbes highest paid list.

We are talking about Kapil Sharma, the comedian has taken the 11th position in the Forbes highest paid celebrities list beating the likes of Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. This proud news was shared by Preeti Simoes, the creative head of K9 Productions on Twitter. A few days back there was news that the comedian is charging a whopping Rs 110 crore for renewing his contract with Sony Entertainment Television. Besides, he is also endorsing some top brands like Micromax, Policy Bazaar and so on. The list has estimated Kapil’s earnings at Rs 30 crores. The highest is superstar Salman Khan at Rs 270.33 crores

We had earlier informed you that Kapil Sharma’s net worth has been on the rise since 2014-15. He was reportedly charging Rs 40 lakhs for a single episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil. Kapil runs a production house and his fees cover everything. Interesting no daily soap actor or actress finds a place in that list. The ones who made it in the top 100 are comedians Vir Das, Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek. While Bharti is on the 98th spot, Krushna is at the bottom. It is surely the funny men and women who are raking in the moolah.

The comedian also does a number of shows in India and abroad. In 2015, stories did the round that he was charging Rs 75 lakhs to solo host a show. Nowadays, it is estimated at Rs one crore per gig. Of course, he looks into every aspect of a production. His own fees is touted above Rs 12 crores for a show. Ever since, The Kapil Sharma Show has aired on Sony, the channel has seen a rise in viewership. It is now on in the top five. We are sure the comedian is also reaping the benefits.
