The incident occurred due to the scuffle between two individuals in which one Liyakat Ali got seriously injured who later succumbed to his injuries. Two youth namely Abhishek Sharma and Honey Khajuria have been arrested and the car used in the offence has been seized. One more youth who was in the car namely Pankas Sharma was also arrested. Investigation in the case is going on. The incident does not have any communal angle and police advised people not to pay heed to rumours spread by mischief mongers who are giving communal angle to the case.
