In a rarr of the rarest case, Kathua police have arrested one person for swiping and swapping ATM cards.
The accused person involved in many cases of fraudulently withdrawing hard earned money from locals especially women and senior citizens was nabbed by officials of Bank at Basohli Branch and was later on handed over to police for further investigation.
Bank branch manager told that the branch received three complaints within a month that someone has withdrawn their money from ATM.
During check of CCTV footage a man was seen with all the victims at the scene when their ATM was swapped. Keeping a close vigil, the team of bank officials nabbed the person who was identified on the basis of CCTV footage while he was again managing to fraudulently swap someones ATM at PNB ATM Basohli.
