KARGIL, FEBRUARY 24:
Executive Councillor for Health, LAHDC, Kargil, Zakir Hussain today said that the resurfacing and blacktopping of 14.56 kilometers Khangral-Sanjak road has been included in the work plan of Directorate General Border Roads for the year 2019-2020.
Zakir further stated that the Directorate General Border Roads has asked Project Vijayak authorities to carry out the repairs of the damaged portion of the Khangral-Sanjak road.
The EC while expressing his gratitude to the Additional Director General, Directorate General Border Roads for issuing necessary directions in this regard has expressed hope that work on necessary repairs and resurfacing and blacktopping of the road kick starts during the next working season so that the general public of the area may not face further inconveniences.
