Baramulla, Febraury 4: A written complaint was received in Police Station Kreeri on 28/1/18
from a STUDENT (name withheld )of Madrasa Darul-Hudda accompanied by his father to the effect that on 20th December one teacher of the aforementioned seminary (Darulaloom ) namely (With withheld) Ahmad Ganie R/O Nowpora,Jageer,Baramulla called the boy in his room after morning prayers and sexually assaulted him while other students were in masjid at that time taking lessons of Holy Quran.
The said accused teacher according to the complainant closed the door and forcibly made an inter course with the victim.
Accordingly Case FIR No 04/18 under Section 377/506 RPC was regestered in Police Station Kreeri , Baramulla and investigation was taken up.
During the course of investigation medical formalities were completed and statements of witnesses were recorded Accused who was evading arrest was finally arrested by police yesterday.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
